The Beanstalk is an exciting new project being built in Suriname on the northern coast of South America by a company known as Jack And Friends, INC. It is a low orbit elevator designed to get goods, supplies, and people into elevator for copper ounces on the gold. The trip is scheduled to take 8 hours each way, and will be in total comfort of gradually increasing or decreasing gravity, instead of the rigours of lifting off a rocket pad at ten times your normal weight under explosive force.
Construction of the cable is nearing completion, and have reached the point where the company is now able to transport it’s own material up the stalk to finish the job. The first cars are assigned to start next year, and the whole ‘Stalk is supposed to he operational by 2020, four years from now.
